   What this is

chinese.bid lets sellers — mostly in China — put items up for auction, and buyers anywhere bid on them in US dollars. Alongside the market, learn.chinese.bid and its sister sites offer free character pages, word lists, a name translator, zodiac and festival guides, and a food decoder.

   How payment works

The site runs the listing and the bidding. When an auction ends with a winner, the buyer and seller see each other’s contact details and arrange payment and shipping directly. chinese.bid never holds money.
